The package includes the Pioneer SPH-PF97BT 9 inch Perfect Fit stereo, which provides wireless and wired Apple CarPlay, wireless and wired Android Auto, Bluetooth hands-free calling and music streaming, and a large capacitive touchscreen for a major upgrade over the original factory radio.
The included CAN-Bus steering wheel control interface allows the original steering wheel buttons to continue working with the new Pioneer stereo, retaining functions such as volume, track skip, source, mute and phone buttons. The interface also provides ignition, illumination, speed pulse, reverse gear and handbrake output signals to the new stereo, helping support a cleaner and more integrated installation.
This revised package also includes the VW / Skoda / Seat OEM reverse camera retention adapter, allowing the factory reverse camera to be retained on compatible vehicles when fitting the new Pioneer unit. This makes the kit a stronger solution for Transporter T6 owners who want to upgrade the stereo while keeping key factory convenience features.
