Toyota and Scion Reverse Camera Retention Interface (Toyota Touch 24 Pin Systems)
This reverse camera retention interface is designed for select Toyota and Scion vehicles fitted with the factory Toyota Touch system and the original 24 pin camera connection. It allows the factory reverse camera to continue working when the original radio is replaced with an aftermarket car stereo or head unit, helping preserve an important factory feature during a stereo upgrade.
Designed for cleaner aftermarket head unit installations, this interface is ideal for drivers and installers who want to keep the original reversing camera rather than replacing it with an aftermarket camera. It is especially useful in Toyota Touch-equipped vehicles where the factory camera is integrated into the original radio system and would otherwise be lost during the upgrade.
PLEASE NOTE: This interface must be used with one of our InCarTec steering wheel control solutions that includes a reverse gear output to trigger the camera view correctly.
