Recoil RCB100 100A Water-Resistant Manual Reset Circuit Breaker

The Recoil RCB100 is a heavy-duty 100 amp manual reset circuit breaker designed to provide reliable electrical protection in car audio, marine, leisure vehicle and auxiliary power installations. Built with a water-resistant housing, it is suitable for demanding environments where power cables, amplifiers and accessories need dependable overload protection.

Unlike a traditional fuse, the RCB100 is resettable. If the breaker trips due to excessive current or a power surge, it can be reset using the manual reset arm, helping reduce downtime and avoiding the need to replace fuses. The unique push-button reset can also be used as a manual kill switch, allowing the power feed to be disconnected quickly when servicing, testing or storing a vehicle.

This makes the RCB100 a practical choice for protecting car audio amplifiers and high-current accessory circuits. It is designed to help prevent excessive current and power surges from damaging amplifiers and connected equipment, making it well suited to upgraded car audio systems with dedicated amplifier power wiring.

The circuit breaker can be mounted on a panel or firewall and is supplied with installation hardware, including ring terminals, heat shrink sleeve and screws. A protective stud insulator is also included for a safer, cleaner surface-mount installation.

With support for 12V–48V DC systems, a 100A current rating and a wide operating temperature range of -32°C to 82°C, the Recoil RCB100 is suitable for a wide range of vehicle, leisure and marine applications, including boats, trucks, buses, RVs, ATVs and auxiliary power systems.
