Volkswagen Transporter T6 (2015-2019) 9 Inch PF Fitting Kit (Steering Controls Only)

Upgrade your Volkswagen T6 (2015–2019) with this dedicated Pioneer 9-inch Perfect Fit fitting kit. Designed specifically for Pioneer 9 inch Perfect Fit stereos such as the SPH-PF97BT (sold separately), this kit enables installation of a modern floating-style touchscreen head unit while retaining key factory functionality.

The included CAN steering wheel control interface retains the original steering wheel audio control functions, allowing seamless operation with the new Pioneer stereo. A dedicated Pioneer patch lead is included to ensure direct compatibility between the interface and the head unit.

The kit also includes a double Fakra to DIN aerial adapter with phantom power to retain the factory AM/FM aerial connection after installation. A 9-inch fascia adapter panel is supplied to provide a clean OEM-style dashboard finish.

PF-157-SWC5-D Compatibility

This fitting kit is designed specifically for Volkswagen T6 models where only steering wheel audio control retention is required.

Vehicles with additional retained vehicle features such as climate control display integration or ParkPilot parking sensor display systems will require a different fitting kit.

This head unit fitting kit includes the following:

Double Fakra to DIN aerial adapter (Phantom Power) with Bullet connector (21-139K)

Double Fakra to DIN antenna adapter cable with 12v phantom power from a male bullet connection. This antenna adapter cable adapts from the original Double Fakra connector in the vehicle to a standard aftermarket radio DIN antenna connection for the fitting of a stereo upgrade.

Radio replacement steering wheel adapter interface (49-VW-05)

The CANbus interface and radio adapter cable is plug and play, it is used to connect an aftermarket stereo upgrade and retain the use of the volume, track skip, source, mute and phone buttons from the steering wheel with the new radio. The CANbus interface will also provide ignition, illumination, speed pulse, reverse gear and handbrake outputs signals to the new stereo.

9” Fascia Adapter Panel

Designed specifically for the Transporter T6 (2015-2019), this fascia is engineered for a simple, seamless installation of the Pioneer 9” stereo. Built as a bespoke fit for vehicles in the application list, it adapts the dashboard aperture after removing the factory stereo to accept a universally mounted 4-screw head unit. This ensures compatibility with most aftermarket stereos while retaining the original OEM-style appearance of the dashboard.
